Mark A. Font, PC

Regardless of the type of matter, preparation is the key and it all begins with listening to your client – their concerns and their goals.  Then, preparing a plan in which the client is an active participant.  Finally, executing that plan while keeping the client informed of all developments, good or bad, and seeing the matter through to its proper conclusion.

Mark A. Font, PC provides an unparalleled level of experience to his clients.  Mark began his legal career as a Briefing Attorney for the 14th Court of Appeals, then became an Assistant District Attorney in Harris County, Texas, before moving to Big Law.  Over the past 35 years, Mark has worked for the government, small, medium, boutique, and global law firms.  Each has provided valuable insights and lessons.  During his career Mark has represented and provided legal services to everyone from individual, every day folks, to elected officials, to small businesses, to some of the largest corporations on the planet in matters ranging from advice on starting a new business, to negotiating leases on equipment, purchases of  real property, raising investment equity, to white collar crime, personal injury, products liability, premises liability, pharmaceutical, wrongful death, and complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts across the country, as well as in international arbitrations.

The breadth and depth of real world, hands-on experience allows Mark A. Font, PC to quickly evaluate almost any matter and to provide Big Law quality legal services, whether they be the provision of counsel and advice or the prosecution or defense of the most complex commercial claims, to achieve the client’s goals in a cost effective matter.  In legal disputes, Mark’s philosophy is generally to give the opposing party an opportunity to do the right thing; and, if they don’t, then he will aggressively protect and defend the interests of his client to the fullest extent allowed by law.

“To me, a lawyer is basically the person that knows the rules of the country. We’re all throwing the dice, playing the game, moving our pieces around the board, but if there is a problem the lawyer is the only person who has read the inside of the top of the box.”

– Jerry Seinfeld
